Based in Västerås, Ekobot develops high-tech solutions for autonomous agricultural weeding robots. Our team is an international mix of hard-working and friendly experts in robotics, software, hardware, and mechanical development, all united by the mission to drive sustainable farming practices.

Your Role

As our Senior Software Engineer, you will:

  • Design and implement advanced software algorithms for weeding control and robot navigation.
  • Contribute to the development of technologies that will be deployed in a fleet of autonomous robots, revolutionizing weeding in commercial fields.
  • Play a crucial role in promoting eco-friendly food production.
  • Collaborate within an agile team of world-class engineers and scientists to create impactful solutions for the future of agriculture.

Who you are

  • Programming Expert: Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python development.
  • ROS Skills: Solid experience working with ROS and/or ROS2.
  • Linux Proficiency: Comfortable working in Ubuntu/Linux environments.
  • Experienced Engineer: At least 5 years of relevant work experience, with a strong background in software or robotics (Master’s preferred).
  • Self-Driven: A proactive individual with a strong sense of quality and responsibility.
  • Agile Mindset: Experience with Agile software development practices.
